Weekend in St. Petersburg,  Autumn 2020, 3 days/ 2 nights

Tour Programm

Day 1.

Arrival in St. Petersburg. Individual arrival (transfer booking is optional) and accommodation in the booked rooms.

Day 2.

Meeting with a  local  guide. City tour, during which you can see the ensembles of the Palace Square , the St. Isaac’s  Square  and  the Senate Square, the Bronze Horseman, the Summer Garden, the cruiser “Aurora”, the Arrow of the Vasilyevsky Island, the Rostral Columns,  the  Field of Mars, and  magnificent  palaces  of Nevsky Prospect.

Optionally,you can also visit the  Peter  and  Paul  Fortress, founded by Peter the Great in 1703. You will walk on three-hundred-year-old stones of  the  fortification and visit the Cathedral of Peter and Paul, the tomb of the Russian royal family.

Optionally, you can choose a tour of the Hermitage – one of the world’s greatest and most famous museums. Masterpieces of world painting and sculpture from the Renaissance to the present day, royal decoration of the Winter Palace and  frozen  music  of  architecture  by Bartolomeo Rastrelli.

Return  to  the  hotel.  Free  time.

Day 3.
Optionally, you can also visit St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the largest orthodox temple in St. Petersburg, and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, built on the site of the assassination attempt on Emperor Alexander II. The Church of the Savior is a real mosaic museum with about 7065 square metersof mosaics, according to its restorers more than in any other temple in the world.

Return to the hotel.

Individual  departure to the Railway  Station / Airport (transfer booking is optional).
